OUR VISION

Attention All Latchkey Kids

If you Are at home without supervision for some part of the day at age twelve and under, especially after school until a parent returned home from work. Felesia’ has created a simple solution for the effects of this complex problem, by creating a third place outside of school and home. As a member of the Youth bar, one will have full access to our resources and network!

Purpose

The Youth Bar strives to achieve several goals: promoting financial empowerment, challenging stereotypes in our community, and offering unwavering support to marginalized communities. Our focus is on creating a secure and nurturing environment for latchkey kids and adults facing developmental challenges. Serving as a third space beyond the confines of school and home, the Youth Bar is dedicated to fostering growth and positive change.

Youth Bar (Oakland’s Safe haven) provides these underrepresented communities with access to:

• various Interpersonal games

• healthy Food and Juices (Bar)

• Traveling opportunities

• Educational opportunities

• A Safe Place to gain a peace of mind

• Supportive staff, mentors and counselors to guide them down a path to success

• Studio space for Individuals to artistically express themselves

• Independent and Supported living staff!

Activities

These groups will have access to many opportunities such as: opportunities to travel outside the country Gaining a wider perspective of the world outside of Oakland, Attend Professional League Games, and Workshops (F.A.M.N).
